The second of a two-part album and follows 'The Afterman: Ascension' - a fusion of progressive rock, emocore, and highly conceptual album themes.
'The Afterman: Descension' is the second of a two-part album and follows 'The Afterman: Ascension'.
Although originally forming as a rock trio in 1995, New York's Coheed and Cambria officially took root in 2001, shedding their former name of Shabutie and embracing a fusion of progressive rock, emocore, and highly conceptual album themes.
All of Coheed and Cambria's albums are concept albums that tell a science fiction storyline called "The Amory Wars", a story written by lead singer Claudio Sanchez, which has been transcribed into a series of comic books, as well as a full length novel.
'Entourage' producers Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson will develop the comic book series "The Amory Wars" into a full-length live action film.
