Hugo Díaz (1947-1998) is regarded as one of the greatest bandoneón players of his generation.
On this bandoneón solo album he not only plays tango but also ties into the classical tradition playing pieces of baroque music, e.g. Bach and Frescobaldi with the soloist brilliance and high artistic quality that have become his hallmark.
