Connie Francis released her first album for MGM in April 1958; the end of 1959 she had issued no fewer than nine albums! Fortunately, there was quality to go with the quantity, as her countless hit singles during this period would confirm. In the UK, her album chart career got off to a good start with Rock & Roll Million Sellers making #12. Her Greatest Hits collection was originally released in the US in November 1959 (one of six albums Connie released the same month!) and would go on to hit #17 in the US. In the UK it peaked one place higher.
