Recorded live at the Broadmoor International Center in Colorado, The Button Down Mind On TV is culled from his 1961 television series which was a variety and sketch based comedy. This album therefore collects the best known sketches, including the Introducing Tabacco To Civilization, in which we hear Bob end of a telephone conversation with Walter Raleigh. That sets the tone for the rest of the album, all delivered in Bob's unique deadpan style.
