The title All The Hits By Bobby Rydell is something of a misnomer. There are lots of hits and they are sung by Bobby Rydell, but they weren't his hits in the first place. Instead, this is an interesting new concept, one which enables Bobby to display his abilities not only as a singer but also as an impersonator. Take for example Hey Baby, a huge smash for Bruce Channel, yet on this album Bobby is able to produce a virtual note for note and vocal for vocal copy. Of course, he does not try to replicate the same vocal style of Connie Francis or Brenda Lee, rather he produces a special version that almost made the song his own. His own chart career was represented with I'll Never Dance Again, a midtempo ballad that became a Top 20 success in the US. All The Hits would also make a chart showing, peaking at #88 on the Billboard Top 200 following its release in 1962.
