Unvarnished

'Unvarnished' is the brand new album by legendary rocker, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. The first album of all new music released in almost a decade, 'Unvarnished' is Jett's 14th studio album and includes 14 new tracks.

The first single, 'Any Weather', which was co-written and produced by and features Dave Grohl on "100 different instruments". 'Soulmates To Strangers' was co-written with Laura Jane Grace, vocalist and guitarist of Against Me! The album was produced by her longtime writing partner/producer, Kenny Laguna. 'Unvarnished' is the most introspective record Jett has recorded to date touching on subjects such as Hurricane Sandy's victims, today's trend of over-sharing and the loss of her parents.
