This is the first album released by the HOWIE MORRISON TRIO. The group features Howard Morrison Jnr, Russell Harrison and Chris Powley. The group formed in 2012 and have been performing to sold out concerts throughout New Zealand ever since. The concerts seek to take their audiences down memory lane with a mix of nostalgic toe-tapping, sing-along tunes that were made famous by New Zealand's Greatest Entertainer Sir Howard Morrison and his group the Howard Morrison Quartet. They include such great classics as "Where have all the Flowers Gone", "Portrait of My Love", "Granada", "Quando Quando", "When they Begin the Beguine", "Love is a Many Splendoured Thing", "Marie" and "My Old Man's An All Black". The Trio also infuse a more modern context into their show with renditions of The Bee Gees' "How can you mend a Broken Heart" and Luther Van Dross' "Dance with my Father".
