EP2 (12")

At first listen, EP 2, the aptly named second release from FKA twigs, sounds quiet and unassuming. It's a fitting detail for the young twigs, who comes across as somewhat shy and soft spoken in interviews. But, don't let that fool you, twigs sings big, with frank conversations about sensuality and pleasure that show a remarkably mature view on love and sex. That she does so over a stirring production that recalls both modern R&B and '90s trip-hop makes her that much more intriguing, putting her on the short list of artists to watch.
