It's been five years the release of their debut single 'Brother (featuring Gin Wigmore)' which held the #1 position on the Top 40 Singles Chart for a staggering 11 weeks, receiving double platinum certification. The song continues to remain the longest running local number one New Zealand single. In 2009 Smashproof won three New Zealand Music Awards, including People's Choice, Highest Selling Single and Best Video (Chris Graham).
