Twin sisters and celebrated Kiwi comedians / original singer-songwriters, Lynda and Jools Topp (the Topp Twins) take us on a culinary journey around New Zealand meeting passionate food producers, home cooks and lovers of life.

In this factual series with heart the Topp Twins seek out the real people behind NZ cooking to bring us tales from the countryside through the universal pleasure of food and love. The Topps' gift for spontaneity and wit combined with a deep love for the land and its people delivers emotionally satisfying stories that are life-affirming, humorous and inspiring.

The Twins appeal to a diverse range of people and relate well to one and all: from free-range pig farmers in the deep rural south to urban taco-trucking hipsters. On their journey around New Zealand they warm their way into the hearts and homes of everyday kiwis and discover people unified in their love of life, of each other and of the food they are producing, cooking and eating. The Twins' comedy characters make cameo appearances - Camp Mother and Camp Leader present Saucy Tips, while rural blokes the Kens close each episode with a poem celebrating the country lifestyle and what it means to be a Kiwi, in love with our land and its bounty.
