Having spent the last three years readying herself for her second album, Little Bark now returns with USB (Unique Sonic Broadcast).
A synth-based album, laid out like a film soundtrack, USB follows on from Little Bark's critically acclaimed 2010 debut Hope Is Rubbery. Co-produced by long-term collaborator Stef Animal (The Golden Awesome, Mestar), the eleven tracks are a mixture of synth pop songs interspersed with lush instrumentals that both dance and brood, like Madonna with a furrowed brow. Imagine a twisted coupling of Vangelis, Cyndi Lauper and Fever Ray, but even that image only just scratches the surface.
