Starred Up

Eric (Jack O'Connell) is a violent young offender prematurely thrown into the violent quicksand of adult prison. As he struggles to assert himself, he has to confront his own father, Nev (Ben Mendelsohn), who has spent most of his life in jail. Although Eric starts to forge allegiances with other prisoners and with his prison counselllor, Oliver, he quickly discovers that there are forces at work which threaten to destroy him.
