Universal Music release the soundtrack album for Brian Helgeland's crime drama Legend. The album features selections from the film's original music composed by Carter Burwell (Fargo, Twilight, True Grit, Being John Malkovich, Carol). Also included are the songs from and inspired by the film by such artists as The Meters, Duffy, Georgie Fame, Rod Stewart, Burt Bacharach, Poncho Sanchez, The Rockin' Berries, Booker T & The Mg's, The Righteous Brothers & more.
Legend is written and directed by Helgeland and stars Tom Hardy, Emily Browning, David Thewlis, Aneurin Barnard, Colin Morgan, Paul Anderson, Christopher Eccleston, Chazz Palminteri and Tara Fitzgerald. The movie follows the rise and fall of the Kray twins, notorious gangsters who dominated London crime in the sixties.
