Bless Up Music - Compilation 1

The BlessUp Music Compilation Volume 1 is the only independently released reggae compilation to be presented to the Pacific public this year. It features only the best of the rising stars of the South Pacific. All of which are on the verge of super stardom. The release consists of 15 already released
tracks and 5 unreleased.

The compilation coincides with the official announcement of BlessUp as an official Limited Company. Israel Starr started BlessUp in September 2014 to nurture the abundant talent in the South Pacific. Providing an outlet for musical creative efforts BlessUp has released the highest number of singles from any 'urban' label in New Zealand this year. With two number 1 debut singles and a number 2 debut Album, BlessUp has proven quality and quantity can co-exist.

The compilation features six current BlessUp Artists and four potentials. All artists have already huge followings that transform into all year round gigs, festivals, TV spots and multiple awards. This year alone Majic won Best Female Artists at the Waita Maori Music Awards and Jaggarizzar won Best Male Artists at the PNGMA's. Raggadat Cris has had three top ten hits, Lion Rezz has had a number 1 reggae hit and also features on Tomorrow People's new album; and Israel Starr has had a number 1 reggae hit and has been announced on three out of the four largest reggae festivals in New Zealand including Raggamuffin, Soundsplash and East Coast Vibes.

The BlessUp compilation will be the first of many and is a celebration of South Pacific Reggae and the BlessUp one-year anniversary.
