Funs Cool (LP)

New York based duo The Prettiots are releasing their debut album Funs Cool, a "thoughtful, funny, and catchy as hell.." album where they talk about life in the big city for young upcoming women, and past and present relationships with boys they encounter along their way. Front women Kay Kasparhauser says, "My lyrics are completely honest.. they're 100% true to my thoughts at any given moment." The Prettiots show all with FUNS COOL, with songs like, Suicide Hotline which sparked the interest of 75 year old intellectual feminist, Elanie Showalter, enough to send them a tweet. "I think he has a soft spot for the dark pop thing.." Kasparhauser says talking about Geoff Travis (Rough Trade Founder), Which is a relevant statement when you look past the cuteness they portray and listen to the truth that comes with being young, cute, and playing in a band chasing boys in New York.
