The Connection

Inspired by true events, THE CONNECTION is a stylish 1970s crime thriller that follows Pierre Michel (Academy Award® Winner Jean Dujardin), a young magistrate leading an unrelenting battle to crush The French Connection', one of the most infamous heroin smuggling operations in history.

Despite the danger, he fearlessly and ruthlessly leads a one-man campaign against charismatic kingpin Gaëtan Zampa (Gilles Lellouche), the untouchable leader of the syndicate. As Pierre and his elite task force boldly coordinate drug raids and defeating arrests, his fearless campaign starts to rattle the seemingly unshakable godfather. As Zampa mounts his bloody retaliation, Michel must decide between continuing to wage his dangerous war or ensuring the safety of his family.
