Fly (Songs Inspired by the film Eddie the Eagle)

Eddie The Eagle, from Matthew Vaughn's Marv Films and starring Taron Egerton and Hugh Jackman, is set to become one of the standout films of 2016. The story of Eddie "The Eagle" Edwards' journey to the 1988 Calgary Olympics, it looks set to capture audiences with a story of perseverance, personal triumph and achieving goals against all the odds.

To celebrate the film comes an 'inspired by' album like no other, curated by Gary Barlow, who has brought to centre stage a generation of the UK's foremost musical talent, to record a studio album featuring brand new songs from, amongst other household names, Marc Almond, Andy Bell, Tony Hadley, Holly Johnson and Kim Wilde.

With an artist list resembling a who's who of musical greats, the 13 brand new recordings on 'FLY' combine the best of their song crafting skill with the unmistakable writing talent and executive production of Gary Barlow.

The songs were written and selected to capture the sentiment of the Eddie The Eagle story, but stand alone as a body of work from an elite collection of the UK's outstanding creative talent.
