Award-winning singer/songwriter/harmonica player has been playing soul-powered R&B for over 40 years. Salgado's 2012 release Soul Shot was nominated for four Blues Music Awards (BMA), winning Soul Blues Album Of The Year.2013.

The Beautiful Lowdown is Salgado's most personal record, as for the first time he wrote or co-wrote almost all the songs. He also co-produced and contributed to horn and background vocal parts.
