Neil Michael Hagerty &The Howling Hex draw inspiration form a whole community in order to create this album, 'Denver'. Hagerty moved to Denver in 06 and says that he has nothing but good memories about the place, and those emotions he felt whilst there is what he and The Howling Hex have captured in this album.

"Hispanic music is huge here," Hagerty says. "They're good rhythms. Like any good rhythmic structure, everybody has a role, and you can build an infinite number of variations on it. We take a very narrow rhythmic thing, then stretch it out to see what happens. That's the style of music we play: stoned-out jams played over a norteño beat."
