Luck or Magic is the debut album by Britta Phillips of Luna. It has five original songs and five covers. They deal with love and lust through different personas - from coy to cocky, at times within the same song. "I wanted the album to be both earthy and dreamy, and the capture the feel of a few decades without sounding like any particular one," Britta explains.
"After years of collaborating with Dean Wareham in both Luna and in Dean & Britta, Britta Phillips has at last ventured on her own for her debut album, right with the gossamer, exotic melodies so synonymous with Phillips' other musical projects.
