Reger: The Organ Works [14 CD set]

Max Reger is most remembered for his huge output of works for organ. Thus, compiling his entire organ catalogue was no small task. This fourteen-disc set, which contains every single one of Reger's organ pieces, was put together by talented organist Kurt Rapf, who recorded these pieces between 1970 and 1984. In those fourteen years Rapf travelled throughout Europe recording on the finest instruments he could find, in order to get the perfect sound for each individual work.
