This is the debut album from the first ever girls' choir at historic Canterbury Cathedral. This album marks the first time that girls have been allowed to sing in an official capacity over the 1,400 year history of Canterbury Cathedral
The cathedral is the home of the Archbishop of Canterbury, the symbolic leader of the worldwide Anglican church. The foreword for the album is written by the Archbishop himself, Justin Welby
The city of Canterbury has been described as 'England in stone' as its history is intrinsically linked to the country's history. The cathedral is one of the oldest and most famous Christian structures in England
The all-female quality of the recording extends to the producer, multi Grammy-nominated Anna Barry who also produced the recording of the wedding of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge
It also includes a new composition by composer Rebecca Dale.
