Two rising stars in the international music scene are Romanian violinist Ioana Cristina Goicea and Russian pianist Andrey Gugnin. Between them they have won numerous awards and received worldwide accolades. Ioana won the 2017 Michael Hill International Competition, and Andrey was Firs Prize Winner of the 2016 Sydney International Piano Competition. This recording is based on a live performance at Gallagher Concert Hall at the University of Waikato that took place in October last year.
