After gaining a reputation as 'Rooter' and becoming well known for their high-octane performances the band changed their name to 'The Terrorways', likely in an attempt to fly under the radar of irritated bar owners who'd already had trouble with the Police's clampdown on underage drinkers in the city's burgeoning live music scene.
Mixing their love of classic rock n roll with the urgency of the UK punk movement, 'The Terrorways' became a firm live favourite and contributed two tracks to the highly regarded compilation 'AK79', their original 'Never Been To Borstal' and a cover of the 'Ray Columbus & the Invaders' NZ classic 'She's a Mod' both of which are included in this Limited Edition LP issue.
