'Neighbourhood' gathers Manu along with Jan Garbareck (tenor sax), Tomasz Stanko (trumpet), Marcin Wasilewski (piano) & Slawomir Kurkiewicz (double-bass) - the fine results speak for themselves. Jan and Tomasz's elegant horn work blends a nice degree of transient navel-gazing with sudden rushes of jazz-fusion genius. In response the piano, bass and drums tie these themes together in a way that shows the synergy present within this esteemed grouping of musicians.
