There are few record collecting experiences more enjoyable than discovering a great, long lost & forgotten gem, on the B-side of a classic, much-loved Hit.
This compilation features 32 such killer flips, adorning various U.S. Pop hit 45s between 1956-1962.
Many of these artistes, like The Everly Brothers, Connie Francis and Brenda Lee, often enjoyed two-sided hits; yet these were B-sides that somehow got away.
Artists like The Coasters, Duane Eddy, Bobby Darin, The Drifters, Roy Orbison, Sam Cooke, Gene Pitney, Ben E. King, The Shirelles, The Four Seasons, Jack Scott, Freddy Cannon, Dion, Chuck Berry, etc., were Pop chartmaking regulars, while others, e.g. The Teddy Bears, The Hollywood Argyles, were One Hit Wonders.
Most of the A-sides of these discs were million sellers, and all were massive U.S. hits; yet all of these Killer Bs sound like they could have been hit records, in their own right.
