Vladimir Feltsman debuted with the Moscow Philharmonic at the age of eleven and he went on to win numerous competitions including the prestigious Marguerite Long International Piano Competition. Vladimir Feltsman moved to the United States in the summer of 1987. Shortly afterwards, Feltsman performed to President Ronald Reagan at the White House. In November 1987 he performed popular works by Schubert and Schumann at Carnegie Hall; this performance catapulted him to critical acclaim.
