The album also includes a collection of Khachaturian's cherished short piano works, including the iconic Adagio from Spartacus, "Sabre Dance", "Lullaby", Masquerade Suite, and Pictures of Childhood.
Honouring Decca's historic legacy - it was the first label to record the concerto in 1945 - this release coincides with live performances at renowned venues such as the Kennedy Center and the Concertgebouw.
