Black Moon was the eighth studio album, and the first in fourteen years, by progressive rock band Emerson, Lake and Palmer, originally released on 27 June 1992. The music is a stripped-down, amped-up, more mainstream rock format, though in many places retaining the feel of their 70s prog epics.
