Billy Strings' fifth studio album is his most emotionally charged work yet - a powerful, reflective collection written in the wake of his mother's passing (her artwork features on the cover). Co‑produced with T Bone Burnett, So Much for Goodbyes leans into slower tempos, deep storytelling, and a darker, atmospheric edge while still showcasing the virtuosity that has made Strings a modern bluegrass phenomenon.

Recorded in early 2026, the album features his core touring band alongside guests including Alison Krauss, Del McCoury, Tim O'Brien and Paul Franklin. Lead single "Burn the Other End" sets the tone: brooding, melodic, and unmistakably Billy.
