Mogwai's groundbreaking debut album Young Team has been remastered for this special reissue by the original recording engineer, Paul Savage. Savage, known for his production credits with bands like Franz Ferdinand and The Twilight Sad, has brought new life to this classic album.

Young Team was recorded in Chem19 studios by label owner and The Delgados' drummer, Paul Savage, for a mere £1,500. The band has admitted that the sessions were turbulent, disorganized, and hastily mixed, adding to the raw energy and emotion captured in the recordings.
