In Lieu (LP)

Gi Gi describes his music as "dubwise sampledelia", transforming borrowed sounds into something detached from their origins. On In Lieu, that approach takes a more direct and physical form. Written between Texas and Australia, the album places greater emphasis on rhythm, with punchier drums, deeper bass and a more focused energy.

Tracks such as Some Of, Arque and Pink Dirt lean into weightier grooves and reworked vocals, while moments like Downswept bring voices further into the foreground. Throughout, In Lieu retains Gi Gi's exploratory approach while giving his sound greater definition and impact.
