Winner of the classical talent show 'Les Prodiges', young cellist Lyam Chenaux dedicates his debut album to the Spanish musical imagination. The recording bridges the folk traditions of Falla, Albéniz, and Cassadó with Iberian-inspired works by Ravel, Fauré, Glazunov, Shchedrin, and Piazzolla. Ranging from vibrant dance rhythms to sweeping lyrical melodies, the cello reveals all its elegance, poetry, and passion throughout the program. For his debut release, Lyam Chenaux is joined by Gautier Capuçon on two cellos duets, as well as guitarist Thibaut Garcia on a special guest track.
