Scalper is Londoner Nadeem Shafi. First seen in Aotearoa New Zealand at W.O.M.A.D. 1997 as the vocalist for the British band, Fun-da-mental, Nadeem is now based on the wild West Coast of Auckland, having moved here in 2007.

Since going solo in 2000, Scalper has released several EPs; been featured as a vocalist on numerous releases both in the U.S.A. & Europe; plus he's toured extensively.
