Anneleen Lenaerts has chosen the repertoire of this album to reflect her life as a musician in Vienna with one of the most prestigious orchestras in the world: the Vienna Philharmonic. The programme brings together pieces that are special to her from both the operatic and symphonic worlds and, in addition to the primarily solo harp tracks, features two selections with the Vienna Philharmonic's concertmaster Rainer Honeck and other colleagues.
"The worlds of opera and symphony merge perfectly in daily life in Vienna, and with this album, I'm hoping to take the listener on a wonderful orchestral journey with my harp." - Anneleen Lenaerts
