Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid OST

Originally released in 1973 as the soundtrack to the Sam Peckinpah western. The album was the first for Bob Dylan in three years. Dylan's first foray into soundtrack composition, the album was critically panned upon it's initial release. Featuring an incredible band the album is made up of mostly instrumental music inspired by the film but does include one of Dylan's most enduring compositions in "Knockin' on Heaven's Door".
